BUILDING INCLUSIVE  ENVIRONMENTS

Increasing Cultural Competence. Our consultants facilitate difficult conversations and lead interactive workshops and trainings designed to create an inclusive and culturally competent culture. During these sessions, participants will gain knowledge and acquire new skills that will help them function effectively in the work place or school environment. 

Diversity Climate Analysis or Cultural Audit. Our approach is to identify your organization’s needs, strengths, and opportunities as it relates to diversity, equity, and inclusion through organizational assessments. These assessments can be done through anonymous surveys, interviews, and focus groups to identify areas of concern for students and employees.

Strategic Plan. We work with companies and educational institutions to help develop long and short-term strategic plans and organizational objectives.

LEGAL COMPLIANCE 

Compliance and Risk Management in the Workplace. We provide anti-discrimination, investigation, and risk management trainings to help clients minimize the risk of liability. Our consultants also review existing policies and employee handbooks to ensure legal compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.  

Civil Rights Laws & Educational Institutions. 

We advise clients on laws that prohibit discrimination on the basis of  sex, race, national origin, and disability. This includes:​

  • Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act;

  • Americans with Disabilities Act;

  • Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964;

  • Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; and 

  • Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). 

Review of School Policies and Procedures. 

We also help our clients draft, review, and implement school polices and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state laws. We provide trainings on effective strategies to manage and resolve school conflict.

DIVERSITY RECRUITING AND RETENTION​​

Community Services. We will review your organization’s policies, procedures, hiring strategies, onboarding process, performance appraisal system, goals, and mission statement to develop solutions to attract and retain highly qualified students and employees.

Facilitated Workshops and Trainings. Our consultants provides expert insight on how to build a culture of respect, best practices for creating opportunities for advancement and professional development, as well as fair and appropriate reward, recognition, and incentive systems.

ANTI-RACISM SERVICES ​​FOR INDIVIDUALS

Community Circles. We facilitate group sessions that provide support and training to adults experiencing racial bias in their everyday life. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with other people of color, share experiences, and learn strategies to address racial bias.

Individualized Action Plans. Our consultants provide private sessions on ways to address and respond to microaggressions and day-to day bias in educational institutions and workplace environments.
